Welcome to AFS UK UAT! Reaching this milestone represents the culmination of months of close collaboration between our teams, and we couldn't be more thrilled to have you here.
As we move into this final phase before launch, your hands-on testing will be invaluable in ensuring the platform delivers the seamless, intuitive experience your team and customers deserve. Thank you for your partnership throughout this journey – we're excited to cross the finish line together!
The AFS UK portal orchestrates several interconnected systems, each with specific requirements that must be met for a workflow to run and be completed successfully.
To ensure smooth testing, please pay close attention to the prerequisites outlined for each test case – starting with the Apple Quote PDF used, which must be valid, accurately structured, have consistent data and contain the specific data elements the portal expects in the format that would be provided from AppleCRM.
Many features in the portal are designed to intelligently act on the data provided, which means inconsistencies or errors in test inputs may produce results that initially appear incorrect but are actually the system working as intended.
For example, our digital footprint analysis extracts the domain from the customer's email address to retrieve and display their business branding. If a quote contains an inaccurate email address, you'll see branding for a different business entirely – not a bug, but the platform faithfully processing the data it was provided.

Before raising an issue during testing, we encourage you to first verify that your inputs are accurate and representative of real-world data.

If you find something that doesn’t look right, please let us know!
Patrice from BPLS will set up a shareable Excel spreadsheet to log, track and collaborate on issues raised. A link to be added here once he has shared with Valiant.
